40th Fiesta!

A few weeks ago, we had a SURPRISE 40th Fiesta for Eric's Aunt. I think we really surprised her and everyone seemed to have a good time. Some of these ideas would be great for Cinco De Mayo. In fact, I plan to use them again:)

We had the party in her back yard so we only had about 30 minutes to set up!

The tassle streamers were really easy to make! I followed this tutorial...
sort of.

The centerpieces are cans from the grocery store filled with paper flowers. Since the flowers are so light, I had to hot glue them in!

Can we talk about this cake topper for a little bit? LOVE.Love.love.
Super easy, too (I just used the leftovers from the cupcake toppers and paper flowers). I will definitely be making these toppers again...can you imagine the possibilities?

And then there are the festive cupcake toppers. I think these will be making a debut on Cinco De Mayo. These are super easy to make as well. I got inspiration from this tutorial .

Why is it so hard to get a picture of multiple kids looking at a camera?

Overall, I think it was a hit! Here's to 40 more great years, Jana!

Frank

Happy belated birthday to the cutest, nicest, craziest,
random fact knowing 11 year old I know!

A few weeks ago, Frank that I needed to write a post about him.

I think he was right:)

It's hard to believe that he is already 11!

Where did baby Frank go? I remember when my mom was naming him, I hated the name Frank so much that I started a petition. I figured that I got enough people to sign it, my mom would change her mind.

I WAS WRONG.

I don't think there could be a more perfect name for Frank.

At the age of eleven, Frank...
-can drive a car (better than most adults)
-back a trailer
-drive a boat
- loves to mow grass
-plays baseball
-loves to ask questions
-can operate almost any machinery
-likes to help dig graves at the cemetery (post on that later)
-is a great babysitter
-knows a lot about the most random things

Happy Birthday Frank!

If you're in Florence and need help with (almost) anything,
call Frank- I'm sure he'll be able to help:)

The Beach and some REALLY BIG News!

Well, it's over. Or at least it will be in the morning. Eric and  I have to go home and everyone else gets to stay and play until Sunday or Monday.

Why are we leaving on a Saturday you ask?

Eric has to clean the boat, pack is clothes, get on a plane
and fly to New Albany, Ohio.

Why am I telling you where he is flying?
(sorry so many questions ;))

Because he is flying to our new town.

NEW ALBANY, OHIO

Yep, we're moving.
And we're moving SOON.
Like a few weeks soon.

If you know of anyone are are from the Columbus area, let me know! I would love to meet some Columbus bloggers

I am so glad we were able to spend a week at the beach before we
move sooo far away from it.

Here are a few pictures from this week:
(shame on me- I only brought out the camera once)
other pics are from the phone

Actually, I brought my camera out twice. The girls wanted a lil' photoshoot:)

What a Weekend...you bought WHAT?!

What a crazy weekend! I'll break it down for you day by day.

Friday:
I went to a rehearsal for a fashion show held by Saint Anthony's Women's League. Yes, this was my modeling debut.  Then a few friends came over and we had a few of these!
 via

They were delish. Highly recommend (I used vodka)!

Saturday:

I made my fashion show modeling debut. It was actually pretty fun! I went with Eric's mom, sisters and Aunt.
I wore a cute black dress from Pretty N' Bliss. Then, I wore some really cute outfits from Flirt Boutique. They always have SUPER cute things. My friend Lacey bought it last year and always stocks up on awesome outfits.Great gameday finds for Clemson and Carolina fans as well.

Here are some pics from her store. Check it out if you are in town!

Then, we had some people over and grilled out. Eric and William made delicious burgers.

Sunday:

We had a family lunch to celebrate my little brother Frank's 10th birthday! CRAZY

And then....
ERIC BOUGHT THIS BOAT!
Say what? Yes we have a boat now... just in time for the summer!
Throw name ideas our way. I personally like Mother Fletcher but it's not going over so well.

Though we won't be purchasing one of these for a long time, how CUTE are they?

I wish they made them in my size!
